40 Foot Tri Axle Container Chassis
With a length of 40 foot 10 inches and a GVWR of 75,000 lb, this gooseneck triaxle chassis is designed for the stevedoring and transportation of one heavy ISO 40 foot container.
Chassis is designed and built according to Association of American Railroads (AAR), Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), International Standards Organization (ISO), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Department of Transportation (DOT), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA) standards.
The container chassis frame and main fabricated parts are made from high strength low alloy steel ASTM A572 Grade 50, having a minimum yield point of 50,000 PSI or higher. Some of the standard components include 11R22.5 tires on 10 hole hub piloted wheels, spring suspension, antilock braking system (ABS), and two-speed landing legs. Several options to choose from.
