This gooseneck triaxle chassis is designed for the stevedoring and transportation of one ISO 40 ft container or one heavy 20 ft container. Sliding positioning comprises a lock pin assembly that allows slider to index through holes in the frame rails.The closed position is required for loading/unloading of the 20 ft container; the extended is for loading/unloading of the 40 ft container and road hauling of both.  The overall lengths are: 32 foot 6 inches and 40 foot 6 inches respectively. 

Chassis is designed and built according to Association of American Railroads (AAR), Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), International Standards Organization (ISO), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Department of Transportation (DOT), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and  Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA) standards.  

The container chassis frame and main fabricated parts are made from high strength steel.  Some of the standard components include low profile radial tires on 10 hole hub piloted wheels, spring suspension, antilock braking system (ABS), and two-speed landing legs.  Several options to choose from.  Available with all three axles fixed or with air ride air lift front axle (tire saver).  

Chassis can be stacked up to 3 high for power only transport
